5th Annual Celebration of India: Day of the Child In-Person
Celebrate the rich culture of India from 11am-1pm throughout Bloomington Public Library! During the event, the Zoo Lady will provide face painting in the Story Room (limited to the first 150 children; ages 3-11 years old), and several events will are planned in the Children's department, such as a Rangoli Art demonstration, crafts and a booth for traditional Indian children's clothing. From 11:45-12:15pm will be a presentation about Families Around India Led by Arivazhagan Kaliyaperumal, Starting at 12:15pm will be Indian dance performances, also. A prize drawing can be entered through 12:30pm and the winner named upon conclusion of the celebration.
