The Pantagraph Presents: Lincoln’s in Town In-Person
This DVD recording of an original play depicts Abraham Lincoln's sojourns in this area. Written by Robert C. Bray and Nancy Steele Brokaw, it follows Lincoln's Bloomington career from his initial appearance as a newly minted lawyer through his best-known legal and political appearances, including the famous "Lost Speech" of 1856, and ending with his funeral train. This 10am program in Bloomington Library’s Community Room is one of the Library’s Lincoln’s Festival in Bloomington offerings.
