Beginning Crochet for Kids In-Person
This beginning crochet class, provided by instructor Theresa Denham, is geared for those who have little to no experience with crochet. We will learn about the types of tools used, simple stitch guide, and how to pick up yarn. We will also learn basic chain stitch and simple crochet. Attendees will take home instructions for a dish cloth pattern. A 6mm hook, scissors, and acrylic yarn will be provided for use in class, but you may bring your own 6mm hook and scissors if desired. An adult caregiver is welcome, but not required, to attend with each registered attendee. Beginning at 10am on Monday, October 8, registration can be completed in person at the Children’s Services Desk, by phone at 309.828.6094, or online at bloomingtonlibrary.org.
