Teen Tech DIY: Make an Emergency USB Phone Charger In-Person

Teens are invited to come to the library to make their own 9-volt battery powered USB power bank! Attendees will learn some simple soldering and electrical skills. Materials will be provided for the creation of a standard micro-USB/Android interface, but participants can bring their own Altoids tin if they’d like their charger to have a cool case. Registration is required and can be completed in person, by calling 309.828.6093, or online at bloomingtonlibrary.org beginning at 10am on Thursday, September 27.
