Rubik's Cube Competition In-Person
The Library will again serve as the host site for the Central Illinois Rubik's Cube Competition which is organized by the State Farm STEM Initiative Group. This program is for those in grades K–12. Ask your teacher or school to form a team! There is no fee to participate. To sign up or ask questions, contact State Farm Ambassador Kyle DaVault by October 6 at rubikscubecompetition@yahoo.com. Each team will need to bring a set of 25 Rubik’s brand cubes to the competition:
You CAN Do The Rubik’s Cube provides an Education Kit for purchase or for loan. Each kit includes 25 Rubik's Cubes, 25 Solution Guides, a USB with resources including our standards-based Learn to Solve Curriculum, STEM units, and Middle School Unit Study.

- Team Competition:
Solve (25) 3X3 Rubik's Cubes in the fastest time! Each team consists of a coach, 8 team members, and 2 alternates.
- Solo Competition:
Solve a 3X3 Rubik's Cube in the fastest time! Participants in the Solo Competition must be a member of a registered team to compete in the solo event.
