StoryWalk and Earth Day Celebration

Join us in celebrating Earth Day with a StoryWalk® at Atwood Wayside/Herb Garden ― Robinson & E. Jefferson Streets at the Constitution Trail. Our party, for children of all ages and their caregivers, will include a variety of activities, a snack, and a StoryWalk® ― a fun and educational activity that places a children’s story (literally a book taken apart) along a popular walking route. Bloomington Public Library and the Bloomington Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department are pleased to offer this cooperative program. Be on the lookout for additional StoryWalk® events from Bloomington Public Library.

StoryWalks® have been installed in 50 states and 14 countries, including Germany, Canada, England, Bermuda, Russia, Malaysia, Pakistan and South Korea! StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and was developed with the help of Rachel Senechal of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
