Tales for Tails In-Person
Tales for Tails pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children in grades K-5 who want to practice reading aloud. The dogs are with their handlers at all times and they love the attention, listening to stories without judgment. Kids can drop in with a favorite book or use a library book to read to them. On the day of the program, interested students should sign up at the Children’s Desk at Bloomington Public Library. After signing up, they will be assigned to a 10-minute session with one of the dogs.
