Girls Who Code In-Person
Teens who register for Girls Who Code will have the opportunity to build a fully functional video game using Python. Python is a general-purpose programming language and is commonly used in video game design. Teens will also work with Pyxel, a library of Python, to build the game. They will gain exposure to fundamental programming concepts such as loops, variables, conditionals, and data types. Registration is required and will be limited to 15 participants. Participants should plan to attend each week as instruction will build. No experience is required; all levels are welcome. Registration opens at 10am on Monday, December 23, and will be only accepted online at www.bloomingtonlibrary.org. Questions regarding registration may be emailed to techprogramming@bloomingtonlibrary.org
