Tales for Tails In-Person
Tales for Tails pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children in grades K-5 who want to practice reading aloud. The dogs are with their handlers at all times. They love the attention and listen to stories without judgment. Kids can drop in with a favorite book or use a library book to read to them. On the day of the program, interested students should sign up at Bloomington Library’s Children’s Desk. After signing up, each child will be assigned to a 10-minute session with one of the dogs.
